About Me

I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, I’ve loved love my whole life, from romantic movies and books to music that makes the heart swell. That passion for connection is what led me to become a couples counselor. I earned my master’s degree from Washington State University and have been a practicing therapist for 12 years, dedicating myself to helping couples truly connect, communicate, and grow together.

I describe my counseling style as grounded, direct, warm, and open-minded. For me, it’s not about the labels or the issues — it’s about getting two people in a room and helping them reconnect. I want couples to leave my sessions feeling closer to each other and confident in having difficult conversations on their own.

I bring my own experiences to my work, having been married for nearly a decade. I know firsthand that romance isn’t always easy, but connection is always worth the effort. When I’m not working with couples, you can find me with my husband, our kids, our golden retriever, tending my fish tank, or out on our boat.

My approach is real, approachable, and open-minded. I believe that easy was never the goal in relationships, connection was. That’s what I help couples find.

In my practice, I value:

  • Authenticity and emotional safety

  • Inclusive care for all gender identities and sexual orientations

  • Respect for cultural and personal values

  • A balance of compassion and practical tools
